so adib's birthday surprise turned out well yesterday.im so glad you loved it! ive been really worn out the past couple of days because of work and assignments,plus having to plan for his birthday made me stressed.haha.on tuesday after cds,called eemah to meet up with get ingredients for his white chocolate cheesecake.so we went to fair price at tampines mall and we could find all ingredients except for sour cream,cream cheese and white chocolate,which were all the important things.we started panicking.haha.walked all the way to PRIME,hoping they have those ingredients but they didnt.eemah suggested to go to her aunt's place first and contacted fareez to helped us buy the stuff at bedok since he was having a haircut there.i had to lie to adib saying i went out with sheena to get his present.HAHAHA.well initially i planned to meet her to get his present after baking the cake but i cancelled.ate at her aunt's house while waiting for fareez to come.we found out that the baking shop was only left with a 2kg pack of cream cheese coz the smaller packs were sold out.at that time i couldnt really care what the cost was,i just bought it even though its expensive coz i think it'll be a waste if we were to change recipes after buying everything already.we didnt wait for the cream cheese to melt a little coz we were running out of time.and it became lumpy so we tried using the electric mixer.baked it for a long 50 minutes.we decided to let it chill before we decorate it the next morning. my initial plan was to trick adib into cancelling and pretended like i couldnt make it with him on his birthday and letting fitri and fareez ask him out instead so that me and eemah could bring the cake but it seemed obvious so we changed the plan.so i met eemah first to do some final touches to the cake and get his present which is a Hugo Boss perfume.smells really nice!on the way to school with eemah,adib called and asked where am i.lied to him saying i had to meet a teacher.HAHA.reached school and i had to walk the long way to mushroom or else he'll notice.the cake was with eemah and she had to wait for fareez to finish his talk before they went suntec.me and adib headed to suntec and i was supposed to bring adib to starbucks but in the end eemah messaged and i had to stall for time since fitri had an interview.so i brought adib to swensens first.haha.he totally didnt expect it coz it was out of a sudden.got his free birthday ice cream there but i didnt sing him a song.haha.gave him his present and i could tell he was shocked coz i guess he thought the gift would be the swensens treat.went to toilet after that to call eemah where was she.me and adib sat at the fountain of wealth for a while before we went to starbucks.sat outside,which is kinda weird coz we usually sit inside but luckily adib didnt think something was up.haha. he was facing me so he couldnt really see his side view.we were talking and everything and when i noticed fareez and fitri bringing the cake, i started singing.adib had this look saying "now then you want to sing me a birthday song?when you could have done it at swensens?"HAHAHA.then he noticed them coming and i could tell he was so in a state of shock.he was literally speechless until he dont even bother to pose properly for the camera.hahaha.not only was eemah,fareez and fit there but about 10 of his other friends were there as well.and all of them started singing him a birthday song.it was obvious that he was speechless.so now am i a good actress or what huh adib?HAHAHA.and he was impressed that i baked him a cake.awww.glad alot of people liked it,especially fit and ber(sufian berhan).haha.ber eat two slices some more.haha.eemah,we should so open a cake shop one day!haha.i was seriously full by that time so when i ate it,had no feeling. after that we all agreed to go bowling at marina.was seriously fun.fit and hana are so damn funny la.i scored 2 strikes! we all headed to simpang for dinner.me,adib and sarah were in one cab while hardy,zahra,liyana and hana was in another cab.rozi and bf,fit,ber,fareez and eemah went there by bike.home after that,and the boyfriend couldnt stop talking about how great the whole day was and how impressed he was with everything,especially the last part.awwww.i love you la.of course,i had to save the best for the last.still say at first your planning is better eh?let's see if you can beat mine.haha.BRING IT ON! (: HAPPY (belated) 20TH BIRTHDAY,SWEETHEART! GOSH,YOU'RE OLD.HAHA. and i hope that we'll be celebrating all your birthdays together till we grow old.i love you.(: although there were some incidents which made adib suspect something was up,everything turned out well.he was actually skeptical about me meeting sheena that day but my covering up worked.hahaha.and fareez was supposed to meet adib and shafiq but he was an hour late since he had to buy the stuffs. eemah,thank you so much for helping me! if it wasnt for you and your aunt,my plan wouldnt have worked.thanks alot babe (: pictures will be up when i feel like posting them. goodnight. |
